2 LUBBOCK MEN WERE INDICTED ON ONLINE SOLICITATION CHARGES AFTER AN UNDERCOVER OPERATION
Written by KAYLA WILLIAMS · Filed September 30, 2026

A Lubbock County grand jury indicted 2 men Tuesday on charges connected to a child predator operation conducted earlier this year. Jose Arredondo, 55, and Jose Salazar, 39, each face a charge of online solicitation of a minor. Arredondo was among 5 people arrested in March during an operation investigators called Four Leaf Felony. Investigators allege Salazar communicated with an undercover state officer while believing he was speaking to a 16 year old girl. They said the conversation continued after the supposed age was disclosed and that Salazar later arrived for an arranged meeting. An indictment means a grand jury found enough evidence for a case to proceed. It is not a conviction, and both men are presumed innocent unless proven guilty. No trial dates were included in the information released Tuesday.
