Amarillo airport gate access program lets approved visitors enter without flying

Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport began offering Gateside by TSA PreCheck on October 2. Eligible trusted travelers can apply one to three days before a planned visit using their Known Traveler Number. Approval allows a security screened visit beyond the checkpoint to meet or accompany travelers. Access requires approval, and availability may be limited during peak travel periods. TSA administers eligibility, applications and screening.
