CE Blades Expands in Lubbock With Bigger Rockridge Plaza Location, Grand Reopening Set for Sept. 5

CE Blades is celebrating a major expansion in Lubbock with the grand reopening of its new, larger location at Rockridge Plaza on Saturday, Sept. 5, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The locally rooted family business originally opened in Lubbock in 2001 at South Plains Mall and has continued growing over the years. After significant growth over the past two years, CE Blades is now doubling its space with its second Lubbock location.

The grand reopening will include giveaways throughout the day, with the first 50 customers through the doors automatically winning prizes ranging from free engravings and coupons to name brand knives. The Benchmade pickup truck and trailer will also make an appearance with additional swag and giveaways.

One of the biggest prizes of the day will be a Benchmade three piece kitchen knife set bundle valued at more than $1,000. CE Blades is also planning a rope cutting competition where customers can bring their sharpest blade and compete for a chance to win a katana.

For a Lubbock business that started inside the mall more than two decades ago, the expansion represents another chapter of local growth.

Grand Reopening: Saturday, Sept. 5 Time: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Location: Rockridge Plaza
