Groves Library discusses The Woman in Cabin 10 tonight with no registration required

A Lubbock book club is bringing the page and screen together Monday evening. Groves Branch Library’s Reel Books Book Club meets November 2 from 6 to 7 p.m. at 5520 19th Street to discuss Ruth Ware’s The Woman in Cabin 10.
The city says no registration is required. The club focuses on books being made into movies or television shows, giving readers a shared story to discuss through both forms. Its regular meeting falls on the first Monday of the month unless a different date is announced.
Groves also offers interactive book club kits. The library describes them as gifts connected to moments in the story that readers open as they go. The books must be returned, while the gifts can be kept. Kits and books for the following month’s discussion are available at each meeting.
Tonight’s gathering is the discussion of the November selection, so the next month’s materials should not be confused with the book being discussed this evening. Residents with questions about the meeting or kit availability can contact Groves Branch Library before heading over.
