LUBBOCK COUNCIL’S TUESDAY MEETING WAS CANCELED

LUBBOCK — The City Council canceled its October 27 meeting because members would not be available to form a quorum, according to the city’s announcement reported by KCBD.

The meeting had been scheduled for 5:30 p.m. during President Trump’s visit. The cancellation means residents should not assume items on that agenda were approved Tuesday. The city’s Agenda Center marks the meeting canceled; subsequent meeting notices will show when items return for consideration.
