ONE CITY, TWO RALLIES: LUBBOCK TAKES CENTER STAGE IN SENATE RACE

LUBBOCK — President Donald Trump campaigned for Republican Senate candidate Ken Paxton at the Civic Center Tuesday while Democratic candidate James Talarico addressed supporters at the Fiesta Center.

KCBD reports that both events focused on getting supporters to vote. Talarico’s campaign reported 4,000 registrations for its event; registrations should not be treated as a verified attendance count. The competing appearances put the South Plains in the middle of a statewide contest with Election Day approaching November 3.
