Search for Revival: Local Ministry Hunting for Water-Access Property Near Lubbock

Search for Revival: Local Ministry Hunting for Water-Access Property Near Lubbock LUBBOCK, Texas — A faith-based outreach effort is setting its sights on the South Plains, seeking private landowners willing to partner with them to bring mass baptisms and revival events to the West Texas community. Chris Saucedo, local representative for the outreach initiative associated with He's My Savior Ministries and partnering with Kayla Gabbard Ministry, reached out to the local community to secure a suitable venue with natural water access. The ministry is specifically searching for privately owned land featuring a accessible water source—such as a pond, lake, or creek—to conduct baptism services. While Saucedo noted he is reaching out to contacts near Ransom Canyon, the group continues to search for open properties across the region to host their upcoming event. "We're looking for land with water if someone could donate access to us so that we can host one here in Lubbock," Saucedo said in a message detailing the search. According to organizers, the ministry's previous events have drawn large turnouts. Past revivals included a gathering in Tennessee where roughly 2,800 people were baptized, alongside a Dallas-area event two years ago that saw nearly 2,000 baptisms. The current "Water Search" initiative targets private land across Texas and Florida, requesting property owners interested in facilitating services on their land to make contact. Public land or water recommendations are not being accepted; candidates must be privately owned properties, with extra consideration given to sites that offer available team housing on-site. Local property owners interested in donating space or learning more about hosting a revival event can direct inquiries to kaylagabbardministry@gmail.com or contact Chris Saucedo via direct message.
