Silent Wings Museum hosts songs from the 1940s on Saturday

Songs of Yesteryear is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, at 2 p.m. at the Silent Wings Museum, 6202 Interstate 27 in Lubbock. Texas Tech School of Music students will perform selections from the Great American Songbook written in the 1940s and preview music from the chamber opera Staggerwing. The performance is included in museum admission; the notice does not describe it as free admission.
