Texas Has Two Days Left for Early Voting Before the November Election
Written by THE806ER STAFF-KW · Filed October 29, 2026

Texas voters have Thursday and Friday left to cast an early ballot in person before the November 3 election. Early voting ends October 30, leaving Election Day as the next regular opportunity to vote at the polls.
During early voting, registered voters may use any early voting location within their county of registration. Hours and locations should be checked with the county election office before leaving home.
The ballot includes governor, Senate and congressional races, along with other state and local contests. Local measures vary by address.
Texas reported more than 4.2 million early votes through October 24, the first six days. Those figures remain unofficial and cover an earlier reporting period.
The application deadline for mail ballots has already passed. Voters who have an issued mail ballot should follow its return instructions and applicable deadlines. Election Day polling hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
