Written by KAYLA WILLIAMS · Filed October 7, 2026

Texas Tech volleyball will return to United Supermarkets Arena Thursday at 6 p.m. for its Dig Pink match against Baylor, with the Red Raiders wearing pink jerseys in support of breast cancer awareness.
Tech enters the match 8 and 8 overall and is still seeking its first Big 12 win after 4 conference losses. Baylor is 9 and 5 overall, with a 1 and 3 conference record, and is receiving votes in the national coaches poll.
The Red Raiders led West Virginia 2 sets to 0 before losing in 5 last week, then fell to Arizona in 3 sets Sunday. Thursday is Tech’s only match of the week.
Freshmen Sara Bowcutt and Elia Dinsmore rank 1st and 3rd on the team in points. Bowcutt has already recorded 3 matches with at least 20 kills. Tatum Johnson leads Tech in hitting percentage at .318.
Baylor has won 13 of the last 15 meetings, although Texas Tech leads the overall series 52 to 46. The match will also be available on ESPN+.
