WOMAN SERIOUSLY HURT IN EAST LUBBOCK SEMI INCIDENT

LUBBOCK — Police are investigating after 40-year-old Rosalinda Gonzalez suffered serious injuries near East Rice Street and Magnolia Avenue Monday night. Officers responded shortly after 9 p.m., and she was taken to UMC.

Investigators believe Gonzalez was holding onto the outside of a semi’s cab and fell when the truck turned west onto East Rice, according to KCBD’s account of the police report. That description is preliminary, and the investigation remains ongoing.
