COCA COLA IS BRINGING A FREE TEXAS TECH FAN EXPERIENCE TO LUBBOCK AHEAD OF SATURDAY’S HOME OPENER

Texas Tech fans will have something extra waiting for them near Galaxy Stadium this weekend as Coca Cola brings its Fan Work is Thirsty Work Tour to Lubbock ahead of the Red Raiders matchup with Abilene Christian.

The centerpiece will be Thirsty’s Fan HQ, a temporary experience described as part football headquarters and part classic diner. Fans will be able to customize hats, pick up custom Texas Tech themed newspapers and grab Coca Cola beverages while taking in the game day atmosphere.

The setup will be located in the Green Space near Galaxy Stadium at 2720 Drive of Champions.

Fans can visit Friday, September 4, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The experience returns Saturday, September 5, beginning at 10 a.m. and will remain open until 6 p.m., just before Texas Tech and Abilene Christian take the field.

For fans already planning to spend Saturday around campus, it gives them another free stop to add before kickoff.
