Lubbock Cooper Liberty ranked No. 3 in Class 4A Division II, while Shallowater was No. 7 in Class 3A Division I.
Post appeared at No. 8 in Class 2A Division I, and Ropes ranked No. 4 in Class 2A Division II.
In Class 1A Division I, Borden County was No. 4, Jayton No. 6, Whiteface No. 7 and Hermleigh No. 9. Motley County led Class 1A Division II, with Hart No. 8 and Valley No. 10.
These placements come from the same newly released weekly state poll and apply within each school’s classification. They do not place teams from different divisions into a single statewide order. The rankings offer a snapshot entering the next week of games and are separate from district standings.
