KEN KING PLANS SOUTH PLAINS TOWN HALLS

South Plains residents will have another chance to speak with their state representative before lawmakers return to Austin in January.

Republican Rep. Ken King has scheduled visits to Littlefield, Morton and Muleshoe on October 21 as part of his constituent town halls. He visited Levelland, Plains and Seminole earlier this week.

King represents House District 88, which includes communities across the Panhandle and South Plains. His district stretches from the Plainview area west toward the New Mexico line and into counties south of Lubbock.

He chairs the House State Affairs Committee and the Select Committee on Disaster Preparedness. The meetings precede the next regular legislative session.

For residents, these stops provide a chance to raise concerns with the lawmaker representing their communities in the Texas House.

The available announcement identified the 3 cities and the October 21 date, but did not list individual meeting times or venues. Those details should be confirmed before traveling.
