Unbeaten Idalou Heads to Muleshoe

Idalou enters the week without a loss after beating Littlefield 38 to 20 on Friday. The Wildcats carry 8 wins into their next road game at Muleshoe on October 23.

The start is Idalou’s best since 2020. With only a couple of regular season games remaining, the Wildcats are working toward the postseason with their unbeaten record intact.

AJ Huddleston continues to lead the offense after an All State season. Idalou’s offensive and defensive lines have also been central to the team’s success, giving the Wildcats strength on both sides of the ball.

Friday’s result put 18 points between Idalou and Littlefield. The next game offers the Wildcats a chance to extend their winning streak to 9 before the final stretch of the regular season.

Idalou has also been identified as the top ranked team in Class 3A Division II. That standing reflects the season so far, while playoff results will be decided on the field.

Muleshoe gets the opportunity to challenge that unbeaten run at home before the playoffs.
