LUBBOCK FAMILIES CAME TOGETHER TODAY FOR OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE’S GRAND JAMAICA
LUBBOCK, Texas: Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish welcomed families today for its 2026 Grand Jamaica, bringing the community together for a celebration of faith, family and culture.
Crowds gathered around outdoor booths and beneath shaded canopies, while families filled indoor tables under colorful papel picado decorations.
The day’s scheduled entertainment included DJ Rickyri, Valencio, La Juventud Norteña, Ballet Folklorico, Los Machos and La Energía Norteña.
The celebration carried the message “Nuestra Cultura • Nuestra Fe • Nuestra Familia,” with children and adults sharing in the parish gathering.
To the volunteers who worked the booths, prepared food and helped bring everything together, your work deserves recognition.
Who had the best food today? Give the booth and the people behind it their credit.
