LUBBOCK WARMS BACK INTO THE 70S AS SATURDAY CLOUDS BEGIN TO CLEARS
Lubbock’s Saturday forecast calls for a cloudy start followed by gradually sunnier skies and a high near 76. North winds around 5 mph should become calm later in the day. The early forecast included patchy drizzle overnight, with afternoon conditions improving.
Saturday night should be partly cloudy with a low around 56 and calm winds. Sunday starts sunny before becoming partly sunny, with a high near 80 and northeast winds around 5 to 10 mph. Sunday night’s low is expected to return to the middle 50s.
That is a noticeable rebound from Friday, when Lubbock reached only 63 degrees, 17 degrees below the normal high. The extended forecast keeps Monday near 80, followed by highs in the middle 80s during the week. Saturday sunrise is 7:43 a.m. and sunset is 7:29 p.m.
