Early Voting Begins Today in Lubbock County

Lubbock County voters can begin casting ballots today for the November 3 election, with early voting continuing through Friday, October 30.

The main early voting location is the Elections Office at 1308 Crickets Avenue. The published schedule lists voting from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. today.

Participating grocery locations include United at 2630 Parkway Drive, United at 1701 50th Street and Amigos at 112 North University Avenue. Other sites serve Lubbock and surrounding communities.

Registered voters may use any early voting location in their county of residence. They should bring an accepted form of photo identification or follow the state’s alternative procedure when applicable.

Sunday, October 25, has different hours, from noon to 6 p.m., under the county’s published schedule. Voters planning a later trip should check the hours for that date.

The October 5 registration deadline has passed. Early voting gives eligible, registered residents another way to participate before Election Day.
