Lubbock County Crash Left 1 Seriously Injured

A collision at East FM 1585 and County Road 3100 left 1 person seriously injured Sunday evening, bringing several emergency agencies to southeast Lubbock County.

The call came in around 6:35 p.m. on October 18. The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office identified the intersection, and state troopers confirmed that 1 person had suffered serious injuries.

The Texas Department of Public Safety led the response. Slaton Fire also went to the scene, while sheriff’s deputies assisted with traffic.

The road was reported closed during the initial response Sunday night. That report does not establish whether the closure remained in place Monday, and a reopening time was not confirmed in the initial report.
