LUBBOCK FESTIVAL BENEFITS CHILDREN
Written by KAYLA WILLIAMS · Filed October 2, 2026

The Children’s Home of Lubbock will welcome families Saturday, October 3, for its 37th annual Fall Festival. The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the organization’s Festival Field, 4404 Idalou Road.
Admission is free, with tickets available for food and selected activities. The announced lineup includes an inflatable corn maze, face painting, food trucks and a silent auction. Visitors can attend without paying an entrance charge, while purchases and fundraising help support the children’s home.
The organization provides services that include residential care, foster care and adoption support, counseling and programs for families. The festival connects that work with a community event outside the school or sports calendar.
Families planning their visit should distinguish free admission from the activities that require tickets. The campus is east of Loop 289 on the Idalou Highway. Questions about the festival or the organization’s services can be directed to (806) 762 0481.
