MAYOR AND COUNCIL MEMBERS WILL HOLD AN ALL DISTRICT COFFEE THURSDAY AT CITIZENS TOWER

Lubbock residents from every council district are invited to meet with Mayor Mark McBrayer and City Council members Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in the Citizens Tower lobby, 1314 Avenue K. The event is part of the city’s monthly Coffee with the Mayor series and is designed for one on one conversations about local concerns. It is open to the public and is not limited to the district where Citizens Tower is located. Because this is an informal listening event, the council will not take votes or replace a required public hearing there. Residents seeking a useful follow up can bring an exact address, dates, photographs or an existing city case number connected to streets, utilities, code issues or another concern. The city says the monthly meetings will continue through 2026.
