Months of Waiting, Shipping Promises and Questions About Another Boutique: Customer Challenges Sissy & Scouts Over Missing Orders

Months of Waiting, Shipping Promises and Questions About Another Boutique: Customer Challenges Sissy & Scouts Over Missing Orders

Aly Barnett is raising concerns about Sissy & Scouts Handmade, alleging that customers paid for children’s clothing and remained without their orders more than 2 months later.

Barnett told The806er the business previously operated as Sissy & Bro and that the seller presented herself as Raylynn or Raelynn Hart. She alleges that repeated shipping assurances and incorrect tracking information left customers struggling to determine where their purchases were.

“Myself and others included were told constantly it was shipped out,” Barnett said.

According to Barnett, the seller initially said packages were being held in the mail, then claimed replacement orders had been made and shipped. Barnett estimates that outstanding purchases among buyers communicating with one another exceed $1,000. That total has not been independently verified.

The business advertised a typical turnaround of 10 to 15 business days. Its group description presented the operation as 2 sisters from Texas, while a business payment profile listed Brownfield.

A September 27 statement under the Sissy & Scouts Handmade account offered an explanation involving a serious crash and subsequent surgeries.

“I was in a pretty major car accident 2ish weeks ago where I was t boned by a car going 85MPH,” the statement read, adding that the incident had led to emergency surgery and another operation.

The provided excerpt does not establish the status of individual orders. The crash and medical claims have not been independently verified.

Barnett also alleges that the seller is Leesa Nicole Barger, whose Facebook profile uses the name L Nicole Barger, and connects her to HoneyBell Kids Boutique in Lubbock.

As part of that allegation, Barnett pointed to a distinctive outfit appearing in both the Sissy & Scouts group cover and a boutique video.

“The outfit in this TikTok video that is screenshotted is the same exact one in the group cover photo,” Barnett said.

The matching clothing imagery raises a question about the relationship between the businesses, but does not by itself establish common ownership, the seller’s identity or whether any displayed merchandise belonged to customers with outstanding orders.

Additional material shows an account named L Nicole Barger promoting other clothing businesses and seeking openings at local vendor events. Those posts alone do not establish misconduct by those businesses.

Separate messages supplied to The806er include a demand from an account named RaeAnn Baker that a recipient stop contacting Leesa and her family, along with a document labeled a cease and desist letter. The messages refer to May, before the Sissy & Scouts group’s listed June 10 creation date, leaving their connection to the current complaints unresolved.

The materials do not establish a criminal finding or independently verify the alleged identity connection. A direct response addressing Barnett’s specific allegations has not been provided to The806er.

Customers with firsthand information about unresolved orders can contact The806er privately with receipts, order dates, correspondence and tracking records.
