CITIBUS WILL BEGIN 4 NEW AND REDESIGNED LUBBOCK ROUTES ON SEPT. 28

Citibus is preparing to launch the first phase of its redesigned fixed route system Monday, Sept. 28. Route 205 Pink will connect North Indiana Avenue with Texas Tech, Covenant and South Quaker Avenue near 122nd Street. Route 025 Purple combines service through Parkway, Dunbar, 50th Street and South Plains Mall. Route 211 Green will link Cherry Point and West End along 4th Street, while Route 214 Red will connect Sunrise Canyon and West End along 19th Street. Citibus has scheduled public outreach from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Downtown Plaza and from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Maggie Trejo Supercenter. Riders should review updated maps before Sept. 28 because familiar stops and transfer patterns may change.
