LUBBOCK COURT REPRIEVE ENDS OCTOBER 16
Written by KAYLA WILLIAMS · Filed October 10, 2026

Lubbock residents with unresolved tickets have 1 more week to use a program that waives failure to appear charges when they voluntarily come to court.
The Case Resolution Campaign ends Friday, October 16. It covers unpaid Class C misdemeanor citations and warrants filed in Lubbock Municipal Court, including traffic tickets.
The court is accepting visits Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1214 14th Street. Bring identification. No appointment is required, and Spanish interpreters are available.
The city says people who voluntarily appear during the listed campaign hours will not be arrested. The program applies to this municipal court’s cases.
People who cannot pay can speak with a judge about payment plans, community service or credit for jail time. Anyone seeking jail credit should bring a jail card. Those options require speaking to the judge.
The campaign does not announce blanket dismissal of the original tickets. People can call (806) 775 2473 to ask about their cases.
