Last 2 days to resolve Lubbock court tickets

Lubbock residents with unresolved municipal tickets have until Friday, October 16, to use a court campaign to address qualifying cases without an appointment.

The program operates from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lubbock Municipal Court, 1214 14th Street. It covers unpaid Class C misdemeanor citations and warrants filed in that court, including traffic tickets.

The court says people who voluntarily appear during campaign hours will not be arrested for those court matters. Participants must bring identification. Charges for failure to appear will be waived for those who come voluntarily under the program.

People unable to pay can speak with a judge about payment plans, community service or possible credit for jail time. Anyone seeking jail credit should bring a jail card. Those options require a conversation with the judge.

Spanish interpreters are available. People who do not need a judge can handle pending matters at the court window.

Residents can confirm details by calling 806 775 2473.
