TRACI BAXA PUTS EFFICIENCY, INTEGRITY AND TRANSPARENCY AT THE CENTER OF HER CAMPAIGN
LUBBOCK, Texas: Traci Baxa is asking voters to support a straightforward expectation for local government: an office that respects people’s time, follows the law and treats the public fairly.
Running for Lubbock County Justice of the Peace, Precinct 3, Baxa has made efficiency, integrity and transparency the foundation of her campaign. Her priorities include hearing both sides of a dispute, considering the evidence and handling cases with respect for everyone involved.
For residents, those commitments have practical meaning. A court appearance can require taking time off work, finding childcare and navigating an unfamiliar process. Baxa’s emphasis on prompt case handling recognizes that people’s responsibilities continue outside the courtroom.
She also emphasizes respecting the boundaries of the office. Her platform calls for carrying out the duties established by law and honoring the checks and balances that govern public service.
Baxa says conversations with residents across the precinct are helping shape her priorities. She is inviting voters to ask questions, learn about her approach and take part in the campaign.
Early voting runs October 19 through October 30. Election Day is November 3, 2026.
