TRACI BAXA WANTS TO BRING AN EDUCATOR’S APPROACH TO THE PRECINCT 3 COURTROOM
LUBBOCK, Texas: Listening carefully, examining evidence and understanding different perspectives are central to Traci Baxa’s approach to the Justice of the Peace office.
Baxa, a classical education director, homeschool educator and small business owner, is running to serve Lubbock County Precinct 3. She points to her experience teaching debate as preparation for a responsibility she considers essential: hearing both sides before making a decision.
Her proposed courtroom approach would give each party an opportunity to explain what happened and present evidence. She emphasizes applying the law correctly and treating those involved with respect.
That matters in an office where residents may bring personal disputes and financial disagreements before a judge. People deserve to know their case will receive careful attention and that the decision will rest on the law and the evidence.
Baxa’s education background is part of the experience she offers voters. Her platform connects that background with commitments to fairness, efficient case handling and integrity in public service.
For voters considering who should serve Precinct 3, Baxa is making listening and sound judgment central to her case for their support.
Early voting is October 19 through October 30, with Election Day on November 3, 2026.
